The first meeting of the Regadiox project was held was held on March 12 in Olite, focusing on the project’s training program aimed at the training farmers and the dissemination of the progresses made in the experimental actions on water use efficiency, irrigation systems and energy savings that have been developed by INTIA SA and UPNA’s Sustainable Soil Management Group.
At the same meeting, various proposals for action were analysed likely to be included in measures aiming at supporting investments within the Rural Development Plan of Navarre, to encourage the use of these practices in agricultural holdings and that may be correspondingly recognised based on the competitive competition scheme established by Council Regulation 809/2014 of 17 July 2014 for the 2014-2020 tax period.
For this reason, innovation, energy efficiency and improvement of the environmental conditions of agricultural holdings may include specific scoring scales to be taken into account in the drafting of the next calls for aid.
