Around 80 people attended the REGADI-OX conference which took place in the Universidad Publica de Navarra about the key role that soil plays in the environment and the opportunity of agriculture to fight against climate change and preserve European soil.
The speakers analyzed the carbon absorption by farming soil under several production systems and the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) related to these systems. They showed CO2 capture rates for different crops and irrigation management systems.
